The deal

What this is

WhatsWrapped turns a chat export you already have into a set of statistics and images. It is entertainment. The numbers are computed honestly from your file, but they are not evidence of anything and are not advice.

Credits

A new account gets one free credit. One credit runs one recap, in full — every slide and every share image. Credits are charged only once a recap actually starts playing, so a file that fails to parse costs nothing.

Packs: 1 → €0.99, 3 → €1.99, 10 → €6.70. Credits do not expire and have no cash value.

Refunds

Unused credits are refundable on request. Because a credit is consumed the moment a recap plays, spent credits are not — you have had the thing you bought. If something went wrong, say so and it will be sorted out rather than argued about.

The chat you upload

A conversation involves someone else. Only use exports of chats you were part of, and think about the other person before posting an image of what they said. The file never reaches us, so this is on you rather than enforceable by us.

WhatsWrapped is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp, Meta, or Spotify. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms. It reads a file that WhatsApp lets you export; it does not connect to WhatsApp in any way.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, and a parser that handles many export formats will occasionally meet one it does not. Liability is limited to what you have paid.
